The fire brigade in Daraa governorate extinguished six fires that broke out yesterday in dry grass and two residential houses in different areas of the governorate.
The commander of the fire brigade, Colonel Muhammad Mahamid, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that two fires broke out in two residential houses in Tafas and Busra al-Sham, in addition to four fires that broke out in dry grass south of the town of Al-Harrah and near the bridge of the town of Khirbet Ghazaleh and the industrial zone in the city and east of the city of Dael, stressing that the regiment members cooperated with Residents and concerned authorities in the Agriculture Directorate and the Water Corporation prevented the fires from spreading to other areas.
Mahamid called on citizens to report any fire on numbers 113 and 109 before expanding its circle towards agricultural crops and citizens' properties.
