The corona numbers are falling - the home office obligation should therefore expire soon.

Munich - Anyone who is allowed to go to the beer garden can also come back to the office: As the vaccination rate increases, the home office requirement should expire, demands the Federal Association of German Industry.

That is not wrong - under the right conditions.

One thing is clear: the home office will remain in many places.

After all, for many employees, working from home was almost an awakening experience.

And many employers have also recognized clear advantages for themselves.

So why not

But it is also clear that this certainly does not apply to all companies.

No home office obligation - the situation is different with mandatory test offers in companies

And even those who have been working for months in a small apartment without a study open their laptop every morning at the same table where they eat with their family in the evening may long for the office.

Depending on the industry and company, the conditions and needs are very different on both sides.

The state should therefore stay out of it as soon as possible.

An obligation to work from home due to the pandemic * loses its justification at the latest when holiday fliers and restaurants hopefully fill up again soon.

The situation is different, however, with the mandatory test offers in companies. Even in times of declining infection numbers * and recurring freedoms, dark fields must be screened and possible outbreaks recognized quickly. Especially if you want your employees to return, you shouldn't shake it until everyone has a vaccination offer.
