Gérald Darmanin, Éric Dupond-Moretti and Marlène Schiappa announced this Wednesday, May 26 the establishment of an operational inspection mission in order to shed “
all the light following the terrible feminicide of Hayange
” in Moselle, on the week- last end.

The referral to the General Inspectorate of Administration and the General Inspectorate of Justice to expedite this mission was announced by Gérald Darmanin on Twitter.
During a conference at the Metz prosecutor's office on Tuesday, the public prosecutor Christian Mercuri had maintained that
"no dysfunction of the judicial services"
was to be deplored in this case when some denounced a "flaw" in the judicial system, going so far as to believe that the murder could have been avoided.
