Wolfersdorf too.

Wolfersdorf -

The offer of the Bürger Energie Genossenschaft (BEG) to get a power column for e-cars has now also been accepted by the Wolfersdorf community.

At the most recent meeting of the municipal council, a suitable place was chosen where you can charge your e-mobile in the future.

Electromobility is becoming a bigger and bigger issue. Both as pure electric vehicles and in the form of hybrid cars, the environmentally friendly vehicles are becoming more and more popular. It is therefore essential that municipalities also gradually increase their loading capacities. Together with the Bürger Energie Genossenschaft, 17 charging stations are now being set up in the member communities of the district - one of them in Wolfersdorf. For the planned location, there was actually only one possible place in the small community: the charging station should be located in front of the gym at the Wolfersdorfer school.

Between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., electric vehicle drivers can charge their cars with parking discs there. If one of the direct residents owns an e-car, he saves twice: after 8 p.m. there is no time limit on charging and you can theoretically leave your vehicle at one of the two charging points on the pillar overnight.

Councilor Sepp Fischer had the suggestion to use the electricity from the photovoltaic system in the kindergarten.

Anita Wölfle had to disappoint him here, however: “The kindergarten needs the electricity itself,” said the mayor, “and, as far as I know, the accounting runs directly through the BEG”.

The cost point remains manageable for the municipality as a whole: it only has to provide the parking spaces and the foundation and - should there be damage due to vandalism - pay for them.

The Bürger Energie Genossenschaft takes care of the rest.
