As hoped, the response to the citizens' dialogue on the redesign of the Riviera in Miesbach was positive.
The concept was also well received.
But there have already been a few suggestions.

- “Tap several” was the motto again and again in the chat window of the digital citizen dialogue for the redesign of the Riviera in Miesbach. Which meant: The 30 or so participants who had dialed into the online conference with Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller and landscape architect Elisabeth Niggl actively participated in the exchange. In addition to hints and suggestions, there was above all a lot of praise for the concept already presented to the city council. And the town hall chief also had news to announce on the subject of the streetball court.
As reported, the leisure facility on the Riviera is to be comprehensively redesigned after the trees have been felled due to the infestation by the Asian longhorn beetle (ALB). On the basis of a public survey, Niggl from the Freiraum office had developed a concept. If everything goes according to plan, the Riviera should become a "green oasis for young and old" again in just over a year.
This should be achieved through "lots of" seating in the form of benches, stone blocks or wooden decks, with wooden play equipment around the pirate ship that is already in the inventory, as well as a few (few) outdoor fitness equipment.
The desired “arena” on the banks of the Miesbach, which was dammed up into a small pond, was also taken into account.
For safety reasons, the planned water playground will be built a bit away from the stream and supplied with fresh water via a pump.
A circular route should invite you to explore the Riviera, whose maritime name will be reflected in the design.
Citizens ask a lot of questions
The fact that the citizens' questions have already gone into great detail suggests that they are fundamentally in agreement with the concept.
There were comments about the construction of a barrier-free entrance from Bayrischzeller Straße.
“At the moment the incline can only be mastered with an e-wheelchair,” said Elisabeth Neuhäusler, disability officer.
Bärbel Greiner and Harriet Zoller worried about "light pollution" from the nightly illumination of the Riviera.
Braunmiller explained the connection to the street lamp network with the passage function that the park has as a connection to the city center.
The mayor could not conclusively answer a specific statement about the possible construction of a noise protection wall facing the B472.
An expert opinion is still pending here.

Braunmiller did not want to open another barrel.
He refused Andreas Kempf's suggestion to speak to the residents of the Riviera about streetball facilities again: "We will stick to the clear result of public participation here." However, the young people's wishes have not been forgotten.
