Update from May 26th:

On Wednesday, the seven-day incidence stayed below the 50 mark for the fourth day in a row.

It was 28.9.

If this is also the case on Thursday, according to the district office, further easing will come into force on the day after next.

70 people in the district are currently infected with Corona.

Mutations were detected in 39 of them.

Five of the infected are in an intensive care unit, three have to be ventilated.

There have been 4,988 corona cases in the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

4840 people are considered recovered.

78 women and men died in connection with the virus.

In a district comparison, the most cases are currently in Lenggries (14), closely followed by the three cities.

There are currently 13 cases in Geretsried, 10 in Wolfratshausen and 9 in Bad Tölz. In Bad Heilbrunn, Bichl, Gaißach, Icking, Jachenau, Münsing and Reichersbeuern no infected person is currently registered.

Update from May 25th:

Only a few confirmed new infections with the coronavirus were reported in the district over Pentecost - although it can be assumed that fewer tests will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays.

From Friday to Tuesday, there were only five proven new cases.

The total number since the beginning of the pandemic is now 4982.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, the seven-day incidence fell to 39.1 on Monday and is therefore below 50 for the third day in a row - two more days, and the prerequisite for further relaxation of the rules would be given.

83 district citizens are currently demonstrably infected this Tuesday, 46 of them with a mutation.

62 people who tested positive show symptoms.

18 are in inpatient treatment, seven of them in the intensive care unit.

Four are ventilated.

The currently infected are distributed among the individual cities and communities as follows:

Bad Heilbrunn 1, Bad Tölz 16, Benediktbeuern 5, Bichl 0, Dietramszell 1, Egling 1, Eurasburg 1, Gaißach 0, Geretsried 17, Greiling 1, Icking 0, Jachenau 0, Kochel am See 6, Königsdorf 2, Lenggries 14, Münsing 0, Reichersbeuern 2, Sachsenkam 3, Schlehdorf 1, Wackersberg 2, Wolfratshausen 10.

Update from May 24th:

The seven-day incidence in the district on this Whit Monday is below the threshold value of 50 for the second day in a row. According to the Robert Koch Institute, the value is 45.3.

If the incidence remains stable below 50 for another three days, the prerequisite for further relaxation of the corona rules would be given.

Certain appointment and test obligations could be dispensed with, for example for a visit to the outdoor restaurant.

However, the numbers on the holidays should be treated with caution because less testing is done.
