Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko goes on tour in Lyon, Marseille and London

2021-05-28T02:15:11.498Z

EDO, its ephemeral and festive street food terrace imagined last year at the Palais de Tokyo for the Assembly group, returns to France this summer, and to the British capital, at the start of the school year.

The talented Mory Sacko continues to chart his course.

After a remarkable stint in the 2020 edition of “Top chef”, the young 28-year-old Parisian chef, who in September 2020 opened his gourmet restaurant Mosuke (Paris 14th arrondissement), Michelin-starred after only a few months, also host of the “Open Kitchen” program on France 3, exports EDO, its concept of street food and cocktails with African and Japanese influences, imagined last summer on the terrace of the Palais de Tokyo, with the help of the Assembly group (Silencio, Wanderlust ...), in Lyon and Marseille, this summer, and in London, at the start of the school year.

The ephemeral and itinerant terrace of EDO, which presents itself as an “experiential restaurant” where the musical programming as the scenography of the place count as much as the plate and the glass, will occupy prime sites. From June 9, Lyonnais will enjoy a panoramic view from the historic esplanade of the Basilica of Fourvière. On August 6, the Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille (CNM), clinging to the big blue, will open its doors to the public for the first time. The tour will end in an iconic location in the British capital that is still kept secret.

As at the Palais de Tokyo, the public is invited to discover Mory Sacko's new menu in a setting of plant alcoves and waves of light. This manga fan whose parents are from Mali and Senegal, former sous-chef of Thierry Marx at the Mandarin Oriental, here merges the energy of African and Japanese street kitchens in very pop proposals: kebabs, fried chicken, sandwiches ... To be escorted by alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages made with Julian Short, a South African mixologist whose Sin + Tax bar was voted best bar in Africa by the World's 50 Best.

As for Mosuke, the reopening is scheduled for June 17, after some work.
