A 35-year-old man pleaded guilty to a case of "drunk driving" in the Kwun Tong Magistracy this morning (26th) and was released on bail awaiting sentence, during which he was not allowed to drive.
Unexpectedly, someone drove a private car of a leveling rule right after stepping out of the court. As a result, they were intercepted by the police in front of the court. They were judged on the spot and were arrested again for "violation of bail conditions." The case will appear in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.
The police said that at 12 noon today, officers from the Special Task Force of the East Kowloon Region carried out operations against driving during the suspension period and intercepted vehicles suspected of driving during the suspension period.
During the operation, officers stopped a 35-year-old driver with the surname Mo. After investigation, it is believed that he had been released on bail and awaiting sentence for admitting a case of "drunk driving" earlier the same day, during which he was not allowed to drive.
The police then arrested the male driver for "violating bail conditions". The case will appear in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow morning.
It is understood that Mo Nan was accused of "driving under the influence" earlier and appeared in Kwun Tong Magistracy this morning. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was released on bail awaiting sentencing. During the period, he was suspended from driving. However, someone left the court and drove immediately. The Pingzhi private car immediately encountered police action on the eastbound lane of Kwun Tong Road off Kwun Tong Court and broke straight on the spot.
