With the extension of the voting period until twelve o'clock at night, polling stations in Damascus are still witnessing a large turnout of citizens to vote in the presidential elections like others in the governorates, some of which announced that their boxes were completely full and provided them with additional boxes.

In the Al-Tadamun neighborhood in Damascus, the people headed to the polling stations intensively, according to the SANA delegate, who monitored the views of a number of voters, as Rashid Al-Mahrez stated that he came to elect someone who preserves the sovereignty of his country and its unity, land and people, noting the comfortable and secret atmosphere in the centers.

In an election center on the outskirts of Daraya, large crowds of citizens and workers flocked to the region to participate in the constitutional entitlement, where Mowafak al-Taqi, a resident of Kafr Susa, indicated that he participated to choose those who would march in Syria towards prosperity and progress.

The Director of the Electoral Center, Muhammad Hassan Ghazi, indicated that the center witnessed a large turnout since the early hours of the morning, expressing his happiness to see these crowds that flocked and exercised their democratic right, wishing that the elections would be a step in the process of rebuilding Syria.

The octogenarian Muhammad Saadia indicated that he never hesitated to fulfill his duty towards his country and cast his vote today as part of this duty, while Ahmed Qatifani, 71 years old, wished that the elections would bear all the best for Syria. It contains the strength and determination to liberate all Syrian lands and spread security and stability throughout the country.

In his turn, Muhammad Zakaria Dargham, the owner of a food establishment, confirmed that he gave his voice to those who see it as the most capable and most capable of continuing to build Syria and continue its development and reconstruction.
