Civil defense personnel in Homs governorate today extinguished a fire that broke out in areas planted with agricultural crops in the Kurdish village of Al-Dasniyyah.
The Director of Civil Defense in Homs, Brigadier General Ghayath Aqil, told SANA's correspondent that the civil defense personnel put out a fire that broke out in areas planted with agricultural crops in the Kurdish village of Al-Dasniyeh in the western countryside of Homs before its extension, indicating that the affected area reached 7 dunums.
Aqil called on citizens to take precautions and not set fire or throw cigarette butts on the roadside to prevent fires, and to initiate immediate contact with the firefighting teams if any fire breaks out to put it out immediately.
