After a severance of more than two weeks and the cessation of negotiations, today (Thursday) the chairman of Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid, and the chairman of the right, Naftali Bennett, met and discussed the formation of a government.
This, after the right-wing announced that they would not join a change government, with the opening of Operation Wall Guard.
Bish Atid and Yemina did not respond to the meeting, which was first reported in News 12. Bennett also met today with blue and white chairman Bnei Gantz, on the sidelines of a joint event in which the two participated. Lapid is in negotiations with the other members of the bloc that oppose Netanyahu, but at the same time the right continued negotiations with the Likud today, which are trying to prevent the formation of a change government.
The Bennett-Lapid meeting comes six days before the end of Lapid's mandate next Wednesday at midnight.
Earlier today, the negotiating teams of Yesh Atid and Tikva Hadash met in an attempt to advance the formation of a government. A joint statement from the two parties said that progress had been made in the negotiations and agreements had been reached.

In the past week there has been a future of accelerated contacts with the parties of the center-left bloc in an effort to form a government.
As part of the talks, agreements were reached on coalition agreements with Yisrael Beiteinu and Meretz, and Bish Atid intended to close an agreement with Labor and Blue and White before moving forward with a new hope and eventually turning to the right, without which the government has no majority.
Against the background of the difficulties in the negotiations between the right and the Likud, Bish Atid decided to advance the talks with a new hope in order to increase the pressure on the right to return to the negotiating table.
Contacts between Yesh Atid and Tikva Hadash are also officially renewed amid fears in the bloc of changes from the courtships and proposals for a new Tikva chairman, Gideon Saar, to join the formation of a right-wing government with the end of Lapid's mandate. M is designed to speed up contacts and agreements.
