The weather in Munich leaves a lot to be desired.
Current weather maps, however, show hopeful forecasts - the end of the cold weather is looming.

The weather in Munich is very uncomfortable at the start of Thursday.
Continuous rain and very cool temperatures of just eight degrees are more reminiscent of November than the end of May.
But what happens next?
Are the forecasts that see a wave of heat for Germany hold up?

Weather: is heat coming to Munich?
Clear forecasts confirm the trend
This very prediction now seems to be stabilizing.
If you look at the forecasts of the weather portal
Wetteronline,
a rise in temperatures can be clearly seen. From the upcoming weekend, the cold phase will end and will - albeit slowly - transition into summery weather. At the weekend, Munich expects dry weather at 16 degrees. The coming Monday and Tuesday will also remain dry, the temperatures will reach 18 degrees after all. Then, from Wednesday, June 2, the values finally crack the 20-degree mark. Up to and including Sunday, June 6th, it should be summery in Munich with temperatures around 25 degrees and sunshine. So the hot temperatures of up to 30 degrees do not make it to Munich. However, in parts of Germany, especially in the west and south-west, this could well happen.
Update from May 26th, 11:01 pm: Will
there really be temperatures of up to 30 degrees in Munich in the coming week?
Rather, it is realistic that it could at least go into the 20 range, suspects meteorologist Schenk.
At least it seems pretty certain that there could be less precipitation and higher temperatures from Monday next week.
Update from May 26, 9:20 a.m.:
The weather in Munich is quite friendly, but cool at the start of Wednesday.
A mix of sun and clouds, plus 12 degrees, this time Petrus has ready, during the day the temperatures climb to a maximum of 15 degrees.
A look at the current weather maps, however, shows that the cloudy weather phase may soon be replaced by real summer weather.

“It's getting warm in Germany.
The weather models show up to 30 degrees, ”says Jan Schenk, meteorologist from The Weather Channel Germany.
The reason: The general weather situation changes over the weekend.
A high-pressure area is emerging over Scandinavia, according to Schenk.
This brings warm east air to us before a warm air bubble comes to us from the south.
“From one day to the next, it gets hot,” Schenk continues.
From Monday on it should be warmer every day.
In Munich, Schenk after, the coming week will start at just under 20 degrees, before the provisional high point will be reached on Thursday at just under 26 degrees in the Isar metropolis.
In the west and south-west of Germany, up to 30 degrees are possible at certain points.

Munich - It's cold.
Bitter cold.
A thick gray blanket of clouds is currently wafting over the state capital.
The temperature is 10 degrees.
After all: by the late afternoon, the values rise to 13 degrees with a little sun on Tuesday.
And that in the Whitsun holidays and the last week of May 2021. This raises the question: Will that still be something with the summer during the holidays?
Weather in Munich: It stays cold and wet - at least until Friday
First of all, a look at the coming days.
Here the question can be answered with a clear no.
There is no summer coming.
At most a little early spring - and only with a little luck.
Thick rain clouds are moving over Munich. * Even on Wednesdays and Thursdays - if at all - the sun only comes out for one or two hours.
The temperatures remain as usual low with maximum values of around 15 degrees.
Weather in Munich: chance of improvement at the weekend
Jacqueline Kernn, meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) calls it “persistent non-summer situation”.
The background is apparently that the low pressure areas over Central Europe are caught between two stable highs over the Azores and over Russia.
After all: nature is happy.
After April was far too dry, the water reserves are now adequately replenished.
And Friday announces a cautious change in the weather.
Although it remains cool, it is still drier and sunnier.
Graduate meteorologist Kernn writes: "The coming weekend could definitely be milder, drier, less windy and sunnier than the current Whitsun weekend."
Weather in Munich: trend gives cause for hope
In plain language: From Friday, a lot more sun, up to 17 degrees (around seven degrees at night) and then a little warmer every day.
The cautious trend for the coming week currently looks even warmer, but again with a higher risk of thunderstorms for Munich.
Conclusion: The Munich weather * remains far from summer values for the time being, but at least it will be sunnier at the weekend and the hope for 20 degrees plus X increases from Monday.
