Roland-Garros: Barty and Swiatek in the same half of the table

World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty, winner in 2019, and defending champion Iga Swiatek (9th) are in the same half of the Roland-Garros table and could therefore face each other in the semi-finals, depending on the draw made. The other semi-final could pit Serena Williams (8th) against Naomi Osaka (3rd).

Before reaching the last four, Swiatek could find on his way the 2016 winner Garbine Muguruza (13th) in the 8th then her opponent of the 2020 final Sofia Kenin (5th) in the quarterfinals.

For his part, Barty could face Elina Svitolina (6th) in the quarterfinals.

Serena Williams, still looking for a record 24th major title, could fall on the solid Aryna Sabalenka (4th) in the quarterfinals, a stage where Osaka could find the returning Bianca Andreescu (7th).
