The Economist magazine calls the President of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador a “false messiah”.

In its most recent issue, the publication dedicates the cover to the president and points out that he is a danger to democracy despite considering that he is not corrupt.

CNN sought the social communication reaction of the Mexican presidency, without obtaining a response so far.
