Latakia - Sana
The audience of Al-Kindi Cinema in Lattakia watched the public screening of the feature film “You Are Wounded,” written by Qamar Al-Zaman Alloush, directed by Naji Toami, and produced by the Public Authority for Radio and Television.
The film, which was shown for two days, deals with humanitarian stories that took place during the terrorist war on Syria, highlighting the heroics and sacrifices of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army in defending their country and the humanitarian conditions of their families, in a scene that shows Syrians' cohesion with their army and their belief in the inevitability of victory.
Artist Tawfiq Iskandar, one of the heroes of the work, said in a statement to SANA that the film is a national epic that embodies the story of a people that gave birth to an army that stood in the face of terrorism supported from abroad, noting its importance in documenting the size of the sacrifices made by our army and their families to preserve our country for future generations.
The Director of Culture in Lattakia, Majd Sarim, pointed out the importance and impact of these artistic works, especially as they deal with human stories that show the scale of sacrifices to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, as well as the will to live and the willpower of our wounded, from which we derive hope.
It is noteworthy that the movie "You Are Wounded" starring Canadian artists Hanna, Muhammad Hadaki, Tawfiq Iskandar, Khaled Shabat, Ali Sattouf, Mohsen Ghazi, Muhammad Qana'a, Salwa Jamil and Fadi Zogheib.
The public screenings of the film began on the 16th of last March, as part of a celebration organized by the Ministry of Information in Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
