In order to be able to demand sufficient parking spaces for future construction projects, the municipal council unanimously adopted a parking space statute in its most recent meeting.

The most important regulation is the number of parking spaces.
This will be doubled from the previous amount - one per residential unit.
In the future, two parking spaces per apartment will have to be proven.
The local council decided in favor of the stricter option.
There was also the alternative of only stipulating one parking space up to a living space of 55 square meters.
However, this was not considered - for good reason, as Third Mayor Tom Niggl (CSU) stated: "Two people can live in a 40-square-meter apartment, and each of them needs a car."
The distance to the street for garages is set at one meter on the side to allow for space for cleared snow.
Otherwise there are also problems with the access for the fire brigade.
From the garage door to the street, there is at least five meters to allow a full parking space in front of the garage.
Mayor Klaus Meixner (CSU) is satisfied with this solution: “The previous regulation is no longer up-to-date.” Two parking spaces cover the usual needs.
“With us you have to rely on the car.
The visitor has to park on the street anyway. ”If necessary, you can still apply for an exception from the municipality if the individual situation requires it.
