Cannes Film Festival: The French Dispatch by Wes Anderson in official selection

The feature film starring Bill Murray, Adam Brody, Frances McDormand and Timothée Chalamet, is among the three already known feature films of the competition, the full list of which will be announced on June 3.

, Wes Anderson's new film will be in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Usually scheduled in spring, the 74th edition of the festival will be held this year from July 6 to 17 on the Croisette.

has also announced its new US release date, Friday, October 22, 2021. If the release date of the film in France remains unknown, it could be set two days before the US release, or on Wednesday following.
