The district board of the Ebersberger Grünen has spoken out in favor of the construction of wind turbines in the entire area of the district.

District - The referendum, in which a narrow majority voted for the construction of five wind turbines in the Ebersberger Forest, is now giving the municipalities, mayors, councils and their administrations the decisive tailwind, says Angelika Obermayr, spokeswoman for the district association.
The municipalities could now start the search for land and the land-use plan procedure.
Planning from 2013 as the basis
In the opinion of the Greens, the data basis for the location search can be the cross-community concentration area planning for wind turbines developed in 2013 under the leadership of the district.
After the introduction of the 10H distance rule by the Bavarian state government, the already well advanced planning had come to a standstill.
Obermayr: "The municipalities should look for suitable locations in coordination with their neighboring municipalities and issue partial land use plans for these properties." This is a time-consuming process for local politicians and their administrations.
An energy mix of photovoltaics, wind energy, biogas, hydropower and energy savings is an important component of the energy transition, which the district and every municipality in the district could achieve.
The investor says that the construction of the wind turbines in the forest will start in a few years at the earliest.
