The community of Kinsau with its 1100 inhabitants is planning a village community center.

This would also give local clubs a new home.

Mayor Marco Dollinger is cautiously reckoning with around five million euros for the community house, including the wood chip heating system planned next door.

Kinsau

- The boards of the Kinsau associations were involved in the planning of the village community center as part of a workshop.

Suggestions and requests were taken into account.

The project serves the internal development of the village.

One of the prerequisites for funding from the Munich State Office for Village Development.

Implementation of the project can only begin when the applicant's approval of funding is on the table.

"We are there in great anticipation," said Dollinger at the most recent meeting of the Kinsau municipal council.

The area provided for the village community center and the boiler house is located north of the multi-purpose hall.

Overall size: around 7,300 square meters.

39 meters long, 16 meters wide and 8 meters high

The village community center is intended, among other things, for the local associations.

The school, kindergarten, town hall and the village community center in Kinsau are heated with the heat from the wood chip heating system.

“All in all, a good investment in the future,” says Kinsau's mayor.

The village community center, designed by architect Robert Schenk from Lengenfeld, is 39 meters long, 16 meters wide and eight meters high.

So there is plenty of space for the clubs.

The basement is used by the riflemen with 14 shooting ranges, an evaluation room, an armory and a changing room.

Several rooms are planned on the ground floor: The approximately 220 square meter multi-purpose room, which can accommodate almost 200 people, is intended for concerts, theater and other larger events.

Next to it there is a kitchen, the parlor and the material store as well as the foyer and the sanitary facilities.

On the upper floor, rooms are planned that can be used by the music band, the choir, the women's association as well as the rural youth and the fire brigade.

"Each club according to its size," emphasizes the mayor.

It is also clear that the entire building will be made barrier-free.

Assignment of trades to local craft businesses if possible

As far as the design of the outdoor facilities is concerned, tables and seating should make them “a place with quality to stay”.

A further 17 parking spaces are planned next door at Building 31 and at the historic parsonage.

Incidentally, it is also clear that local craft businesses are preferred when awarding the trades - if their offers are right.

In the meantime, however, it is also expected that the clubs are not stingy when it comes to personal contributions.

For example, in the demolition of the existing multi-purpose hall and the interior construction of the future village community center.

Closed consent

The schedule stipulates that construction can begin next year and the building will be ready for occupancy in 2024.

Only then will the demolition of the old multi-purpose hall begin.

As soon as the corona situation allows, town hall chief Marco Dollinger wants to inform the entire community about the village community center in a kind of citizens' meeting.

At its most recent meeting, the Kinsau municipal council gave its approval to the building application.

Now the building application goes to the district office for approval.

At the same time, those responsible for public affairs - there are always around 34 - have the opportunity to comment on this project.
