Level crossings Fischbachau: Solution delayed - "Have to offer alternative routes"

The progress originally aimed for at the beginning of the year for the eight unrestricted level crossings in Fischbachau will probably be delayed until autumn.

Fischbachau - At a meeting at the Fischeralmstrasse crossing on Wednesday, representatives of the municipality and DB Netz agreed in principle on solutions for all crossings, reports building authority manager Werner Wagner.

However, concrete agreements were still lacking.

For this, the community still has to talk to some landowners and complete further planning, says Wagner.

Of the remaining seven, three or four would be closed and the others would be secured with simpler measures, such as those that are sufficient for footpaths.

At least that is the current status.

The municipality wants to discuss specific solutions with DB Netz again in June.

By the time the first level crossings are dealt with in the local council, the summer should be over.
