" military surveillance treaty
which Donald Trump had slammed the door of, considering in turn that this agreement had been "
undermined
" by "
Russia's violations
" .

," a spokesman for US diplomacy said on Friday. "
By concluding its review of the treaty, the United States therefore does not intend to seek to join it, due to the fact that Russia has taken no measures to respect it again,
" he added. "
Russia's behavior, especially its recent actions concerning Ukraine, is not that of a partner determined to rebuild confidence,
" he said.

treaty
, which gives the right to conduct observation flights of the military activities of member states. He had accused Moscow of raping him. In return, Russia in turn denounced the treaty. Russian deputies voted on May 19 to withdraw from Moscow, but their government assured it was ready to remain in the agreement if the Americans proposed a "
constructive solution
".
