At about 2 am today (28th), a male taxi driver surnamed Zhang (58 years old) parked his taxi off No. 24A Jordan Road, Yau Ma Tei. It was reported that a Nan Yahan who was full of alcohol suddenly appeared for no reason. "Take off kick" kicked the taxi.
Upon seeing this, Zhang immediately argued with the other party. It was reported that someone became angry and surrounded the driver with his girlfriend.
Police officers arrived, and after investigation, they arrested the Nepalese couple on suspicion of "assault causing actual bodily harm."
The arrested woman was 28 years old. The 40-year-old Nan Yahan was also arrested for "failure to produce identification documents" and "criminal damage", and was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Yau Tsim Police District for follow-up.
The taxi driver named Zhang injured his hand and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
