Founded ten years ago, Birdeo saw its turnover double between 2018 and 2019. Last year, it managed no less than 80 recruitments for its clients. A sign that the sector is booming, the range of professions is becoming more professional at an accelerated rate. Caroline Renoux, founder and director of Birdeo, notes that access is now impossible without suitable training. “Responsible finance” offers many jobs, as does fashion or luxury, which is a priori less expected. Large groups, mid-cap companies and investment funds respectively contribute to this demand. On the other hand, SMEs are in decline,except those who work on their raison d'être (sustainable growth, ecological transition, gender parity, etc.).

Birdeo's case is far from isolated.

Without targeting only CSR profiles, many firms have set up a dedicated branch.

“Almost ten years ago, a HR Director, member of Club Delville, carried out a mission to lead a CSR project,

testifies Patrick Abadie, founding president of Delville Management, specializing in the recruitment of interim managers.

Since then, she has continued to string together missions in this area.

There is a strong demand in companies, which are pushed by their employees. ”

And to explain the point: for manufacturers considered to operate in polluting sectors, a strong CSR approach, which proves that it is not a question of marketing packaging, becomes essential for their recruitments.

For their part, consumer companies, which are faced with the demands of their customers, must also convince of their commitment.

"Environmental and societal subjects"

At Wifirst, a telecoms operator for professionals with 210 employees, Charlotte Thiollier has been a full-time CSR manager for two years. With the support of the company, she followed a training course in CSR management as part of a specialized master's degree at the École des Mines, which enabled her to take up her new functions, after seven years as a deployment project manager.

“My daily life is very varied with the aim of supporting the overall strategy of the company on environmental and societal issues. The carbon footprint is at the heart of our concerns with the responsible implementation of digital technology ”,

she explains.

Not to mention a series of very concrete initiatives such as the repackaging of equipment in conjunction with logisticians and raising employee awareness of these themes.
