Dear readers,

Like last year, a very “Franco-French” summer is emerging for tourism, despite the wide opening of our neighbors in southern Europe. The classic destinations, from Corsica to Brittany are already in great demand, while tensions point on certain services, such as car rental. In short, saturation is emerging. To escape the tumult, to get out of the hubbub, two possibilities: postpone your vacation dates, or take a step aside. In the Bouches-du-Rhône, why not favor the Côte Bleue with the endless creeks? In this context, the mountain can still perform well, with the promise of wide open spaces offered by refuges, for example. But calm can also be found on the road, as long as it is cyclable. The uncrowded Voie Bleue, whichstretches from the Luxembourg border to Lyon, will offer a beautiful crossing of the Hexagon at reduced speed. This is also “slow tourism”. And the Gers lends itself perfectly to these new aspirations, whether you travel it by bike, on horseback, or by boat. On your marks ? Slow down.
