The Ministry of Culture launched the first national competition for adolescents, for the oud, the law, the bouffant, and the violin, for ages between 13 and 17 years.
In a statement, the ministry specified that SANA received a copy of the Office of the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus to submit an application to participate in the competition, where the participant must possess a good quality musical instrument and send videos showing his talents to her own e-mail.
Requests for participation are submitted and the videos are sent up to 10 days before the date of the competition for each instrument, as the days of the 17th and 18th of August are set for the Oud and for the law machine on the 24th and 25th of the same month, while the wind instruments are set on the 21st and 22nd of September. Next to conclude with the violin on the 19 and 20 of next October.
Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts hosts competitions to conclude with an official ceremony on the stage of the drama theater in the house, during which material prizes are distributed to the winners, winning the first place 450 thousand Syrian pounds, 350 for the second, 250 for the third, and 100 thousand for those who qualified for the last stage and did not get one of the first places.
