The businessman Klaus Traimer is at home on Otto-Wagner-Strasse like no other.

20 years ago he opened a fan shop there with devotional items related to football.

Specialized sports articles for handball players and soccer players are also part of the range - still.

Germering - "Traimer's Fanshop" has been located in Otto-Wagner-Straße 10a since 2006.

This chapter ended on June 30th: the almost 76-year-old Klaus Traimer, who is also a veteran of the handball and soccer department at SC Unterpfaffenhofen, will then close the shop forever.

"Corona tipped the balance," says Traimer, explaining the motivation for giving up the business.

The violent second lockdown in December in particular hit him hard.

On December 1, for example, he received a 3,000 euro delivery of sweets with the FC Bayern logo for the Christmas business.

Two weeks later the shop was closed.

The biscuits, chocolates and other goodies will keep for a while.

But he would have to dispose of the gingerbread in the FCB packaging.

Corona in Bavaria: Traimer lonely in the fan shop - "That was no longer fun"

The material effects of the crisis are the one.

The other, however, are the consequences for Klaus Traimer's normal day-to-day work: “For months I drove to the store in the morning and read the newspaper.

Without having seen a single person, I closed again and drove home. "The lack of contact with people afflicted Traimer, who can definitely be described as a sociable guy:" That was no longer fun.

And if you have to drive to work in the morning, then it's over. "

This development started before Corona, reports Klaus Traimer: "Otto-Wagner-Straße has been dead for a long time." While it was extremely difficult to find business premises here 20 years ago, it is now the other way around: " There is always something free at every corner. "

Closed from July 1st - Traimer: Then the sale begins

If the shop is closed from July 1st, this does not mean that you have to do without the extensive range of Klaus Traimer.

When the handball amateurs start playing again, they will be held every day of the SC Unterpfaffenhofen home game in the sports hall of the secondary school.

There he has been presenting his sports articles and the goods coveted by fans for what feels like an eternity.

Traimer firmly believes that this will be possible again in the fall.

If you don't want to wait that long, you can use the offer at Otto-Wagner-Straße 10a for another four weeks.

During the sale, discounts of up to 50 percent await the assortment.

You can find more information about the sale on the Internet at www.traimers-fanshop.de.

The situation in the pandemic is slowly easing.
