The French braved the cold and the rain to celebrate the reopening of their businesses and their terraces.
The first had been closed for a month and a half, or even three and a half months for those located in large shopping centers.
The second hadn't had any customers at the table for more than six months.
The latter did not shy away from their pleasure in rediscovering these places of sociability and consumption.
“They were there from the start, despite the bad weather,”
says Hubert Jan, president of Umih catering.

From May 19, many terraces were occupied to their maximum capacity in all regions of France, even the less sunny.
And the weather, which has been improving in recent days, should contribute to the arrival of customers.
