Wolfratshausen - The 5555th Corona rapid test was celebrated in the "Tower for Art and Communication" at Schwankl-Eck, not with kettledrons, but with trumpets.
The musical serenade was organized by the Isar-Loisach Cultural Association (KIL).
The rooms rented by KIL have been used as a test station since December 2020. At the time, Ines Lobenstein campaigned for older people with low pensions who have relatives in nursing homes to be able to get a negative decision here free of charge. "We have been open since then," reports KIL chairwoman Assunta Tammelleo. The team is supported by the DLRG, the Wolfratshausen mountain rescue service and the Weidach fire brigade. “We are now testing on all five working days,” says Tammelleo. In addition to the rooms at Schwankl-Eck, another station was added in the Loisachpassage at the end of April.
“Now we've done the 5555th test - and that's what we wanted to announce,” explains Tammelleo.
KIL chairmen Florian Sagner and Florian Chudalla from the Geretsried Music School asked for a serenade.
"Because it is an unbelievable achievement, what has been and is done here voluntarily and so far without substantial subsidies for the KIL room rental, cleaning service and waste disposal by the numerous volunteers of the associations and Ines Lobenstein." And so the two trumpeters blared out Windows of the tower show the "Ode to Joy" in the evening Wolfratshauser Markt.
A serenade that the audience enthusiastically received.
