Two people were found dead in the night from Friday to Saturday in the Nantes area, probably following attacks, said the emergency services without further details.

Around 1 a.m. in Saint-Herblain, rue de l'Angevinière, firefighters intervened to rescue a 35-year-old man lying on the public road.
The victim was declared dead "
visibly following an attack with a knife
", indicates the departmental fire and rescue service.
The investigation was handed over to the federal police.
A little later, around 4 am, in Nantes, rue de Gigant, the firefighters again intervened to rescue "
a 42-year-old man unconscious and lying on the public road
".
The victim was also declared dead “a
priori following an assault
”.
