A couple was arrested accused of beating to death an 11-month-old baby, the woman's daughter, who was taken to a health center because she had seizures.
It happened in Loma Hermosa, San Martín district.
The victim's mother and her partner will be investigated
in the next few hours, while the prosecutor in the case, Fabiana Ruíz, awaits the results of the autopsy to find out in detail the causes of death.

that the incident occurred this Friday in a house on La Paloma Street at 4,600 in Loma Hermosa, where a 24-year-old girl and her 23-year-old boyfriend lived with the girl's baby.
"The woman
approached the hospital with her daughter convulsing and upon entering the guard room she died from the injuries
, the death date remains to be ascertained, but she had several blows and traumatic injuries," added a spokesperson.
The doctors called the police and the prosecution ordered the arrest of the couple for the time being accused of "homicide aggravated by the bond."
Prosecutor Ruíz requested expert opinions at the house of the detained couple in search of evidence and testimonies from acquaintances and relatives who provide data.
