Celebrating Dr. Bashar Al-Assad’s victory as President of the Republic, a massive mass celebration was held today at the Youth Square in Deir Ezzor, during which a number of patriotic songs and paragraphs of Fourati folklore were presented.
The crowd raised the national flags, stressing that this gathering comes as a celebration of Syria's victory and the achievement of the constitutional entitlement, and an affirmation of the Syrian people’s adherence to their national choice and their standing by the Syrian Arab Army to preserve the country's unity.
In statements to SANA correspondent, Maher Allawi indicated that the people of Syria have demonstrated to the world their adherence to the unity and sovereignty of their homeland and their rallying around their army under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, using hope to act as their slogan.
Rabih al-Urfi indicated that these large crowds came to confirm that Dr. Bashar al-Assad is the people's choice and free decision because he preserved the unity of Syria and did not abandon it despite all the plots hatched against it, while Elham Shehahda indicated that the people of Syria from the end to the end took to the streets in celebration of the victory of Syria. Which came as a culmination of the victories of the Syrian Arab Army, and today they are renewing the covenant with the President by implementing and translating his campaign slogan “Hope to work” on the ground.
Bashir Shaheen explained that these crowds express the joy of the people of Deir Ezzor with this real holiday, with the election of Dr. Bashar Al-Assad as President, so that Syria will remain strong in its people and army because he is the best person to rebuild it again.
Heba Diwani said that she "touched joy in the faces and hearts of all people, and that the completion of the constitutional entitlement is the title of a new stage for Syria, and that the entire Syrian people hope that prosperity will be achieved for this resisting country so that it remains a title of hope for action."
Maher Sukkar expressed his happiness with the victory of the Syrian people and the accomplishment of the presidential elections on time, which expresses the unity and strength of Syria with its army and leadership, so that the joy of life in it will return again and remain the country of peace.
