A double body case occurred in Fanling Wing Fook Centre. A 62-year-old man and his maternal father fell to his death and died in a flat.
The 88-year-old man who was lying inside the unit had multiple injuries on his body that were suspected to be caused by hard objects. The police found a hammer beside him.
The case is temporarily listed as a case of someone falling from a height and a body found, and is handed over to Team 3 of the Tai Po Police District Crime Squad for follow-up.
Tai Po District Assistant Commander (Criminal) Superintendent Chong Seng Yat said that at about 8:23 pm, the police received a report from the public that a man fell from a height. After confirmation by ambulance personnel, it was confirmed that the man died on the spot. His age was 62 years old, and confirmed that the deceased lived in a unit.
Afterwards, the police entered the unit of the deceased and found another 88-year-old man lying inside the unit and was certified dead on the spot.
He has different scars on his head, hands and feet, which are believed to be caused by hard objects or hard objects. A hammer was found beside him.
The window grilles in the bedroom of the unit were removed. It is not excluded that the 66-year-old man fell from a height.
