Tripoli-SANA

The commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, affirmed that peace will not be achieved in the country while the occupation and mercenaries remain in it, stressing that "there is no peace except in the hands of the Libyan state."

The Libyan Wasat Gate website quoted Haftar as saying during a military parade today that the Libyan National Army will not hesitate to fight battles again to impose peace by force if it is obstructed by the agreed-upon peace settlement, calling for the dissolution of armed groups and militias in Tripoli and the holding of elections without delay.

He stressed that the Libyan army is capable of waging a war against terrorists again if the international agreement and elections are obstructed, adding that "there is no peace with the occupation and mercenaries, and no peace except in the hands of the state."

Media reports documented that the Turkish regime led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan had transferred thousands of terrorist mercenaries from northern Syria to Libya accompanied by Turkish soldiers to intervene in the affairs of this country and enhance its expansion plans and ambitions by supporting terrorism.
