Tonight (Saturday), the police arrested a resident of Lod in his twenties suspected of throwing Molotov cocktails at the Jewish family's home in the city.
On Friday night, two unknown individuals were documented throwing four Molotov cocktails at a house where a Jewish family lives on Baal Hatanya Street in the Sha'ar Ha'ir neighborhood of Lod.
None of the family members, who were sleeping at home at the time, were injured in the incident.
Most of the residents of the neighborhood are from the Chabad community. Following the riots that broke out in the city during Operation Guardian of the Walls, the residents were prepared with fire extinguishers in the houses, and thus managed to control the fire that soon broke out in the house.
