Major General Jorge Ramírez, inspector general of the National Police of Colombia reported this Friday through a video that an investigation has been ordered by the Police and Military Criminal Justice in the framework of the complaints and evidence in video of alleged armed civilians who have been seen together with police in the Ciudad Jardín sector on Friday, May 28, 2021, shooting at the protesters located in said area.

"The collected material has been brought to the attention of the legal authorities, defense attorney, prosecutor's office and attorney's office so that within the framework of their competence they contribute to the clarification of the facts," said General Ramírez.
