Today, the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate seized stores of ammunition and explosive devices for the ISIS terrorist organization in the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar in northern and western Iraq.
Alsumaria News quoted the directorate as saying in a statement that “with a qualitative operation, the Military Intelligence Division detachments managed to raid a tunnel for the terrorist organization ISIS in the village of Shor Belka in Al-Qaraj district in Nineveh Governorate, and ammunition and explosive devices were seized inside it.”
The Iraqi forces, in coordination with the Intelligence Division of the Western Nineveh Operations Command, seized mortar shells, home-made explosive devices, various weapons and rocket launchers near Barzan village of Zummar district, west of Nineveh.
In the same context, Iraqi intelligence seized a warehouse of weapons and explosives in the village of Al-Til in the Levantine Desert in Anbar Governorate.
Earlier today, the Iraqi security forces arrested 12 terrorists in separate areas of Nineveh Governorate.
