It only generates costs. Of course, a replacement was ordered immediately, but it has not yet been delivered.

His Eittingen colleague Reinhard Huber also has to be patient.

As reported, anonymous perpetrators had dismantled the place-name sign of Reisen and unceremoniously attached it to the Eitting entrance.

This has already been reassigned, said Huber.

On a makeshift temporary arrangement, it really hangs in travel again.

From the place-name sign of Eitting, coming from the southwestern neighboring town, there is still no trace.

Likewise from the perpetrator or perpetrators.

According to the mayor, there was “no reaction or evidence” to the report in the local newspaper.

In Eitting, the building yard has initially installed a 50 km / h speed warning board. Huber announced that there will be new signs for both entrances to the town. Cost per yellow directional sign: 300 euros. The travel board was "used and aged", the colors faded because the ravages of time have gnawed at it. “We might not have exchanged them this year, but we would have exchanged them next year. And that's why both signs are now being bought new, ”explains the community chief. "Then we save shipping costs for once." However, insurance does not cover the missing sign, Huber continues. Therefore, the municipality will bear the costs of 600 euros alone.

Huber does not yet know exactly when the provisional state will end. “The signs are ordered. I hope they come in the next two weeks. ”Then the annoyance would be off the table for good - or in other words: the phenomenon itself would be gone.
