Rain, wind and storm - not ideal conditions for the cycling rally of the advertising association Hallbergmoos in action.

564 participants in the previous year became 427.

Hallbergmoos

- For the second time in a row, the family bike event did not take place as usual on May 1st due to the coronavirus. Instead, anyone - alone or as a family - could drive the 22 kilometers within a period of 14 days and answer the quiz question about the flora and fauna hung in the shop windows of the member companies - if they were not just blown away or removed by caretakers.

Some questions were quite tricky: such as the diving depth of the dolphins, to which the responsible persons of the advertising association “Hallbergmoos in Action” turned a blind eye: 1000 meters would have been correct.

But one has also accepted less.

At the end of the day, the important thing was the solution: “Personally for the customer, together for the location.” Anyone who noted the HIA slogan on their entry form ended up in the lottery wheel.

The town hall chief added Hallberg's checks from his own pocket

The five main prize winners have now been drawn by Mayor Josef Niedermair on Rathausplatz: Nicklas Voigt (1st prize) from Hallbergmoos can look forward to a new bike. Andreas Haas can call an e-scooter his own. The third prize, sunglasses, goes to Sandra Schweitzer (Neufahrn). Hans Russ from Riemerling receives Hallberg checks worth 50 euros. Evangelina Minova can shop for 30 euros in the HIA member companies. And Niedermair spontaneously added a sixth prize out of pocket: 100 euros in Hallberg checks. She wins Gabrielle Sellmann from Hallbergmoos. The advertising community now hopes that the cycling rally 2022 can take place again in the usual form on May 1st.
