Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation's continued crimes and violations in the occupied city of Jerusalem are a disregard for the international positions that demanded it to stop.
The Foreign Ministry condemned in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the occupation forces’ continued suppression of solidarity vigils with the residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem who are threatened with forced displacement and expelling them from their homes to be handed over to settlers. In addition to storming Palestinian homes and assaulting them, the entrances to the neighborhood have been closed for more than two weeks.
The Foreign Ministry also strongly condemned the continued provocative incursions by the occupation and its settlers into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to impose a fait accompli regarding the Judaization of the Temple Mount and its control.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and end the occupation.
