As-Suwayda-Sana

They left the front of the fight against terrorism after being forced to suffer severe injuries, but they came to the flag front with an unyielding will and determination.. Five wounded members of the Syrian Arab Army took the basic education certificate exams for the year 2020-2021 to complete the march of science, work and construction.

Raafat Al-Shaarani, Yarub Hamsho, Ihab Al-Azmi, Hatem Al-Hussein and Khaled Al-Halawi, wounded heroes of the Syrian Arab Army who embodied the phrase “I am able, I can.” They came early in the morning to the examination center for special cases at the Martyr Salman Dwaier School in Sweida to take exams with the support of the “Wounded Home Project” loaded With ambitions that were not and will not be stopped by their pain and multiple injuries.

In his wheelchair and in his beloved military uniform, the wounded Al-Shaarani, who was paralyzed after an injury in Harasta in 2017, indicated that the support of the Wounded Home project gave him strength and will and boosted his self-confidence to apply for the basic education certificate exams, sending a message to each wounded person to have confidence, strength and will to continue his education.

The case of the wounded Hamsho, similar to that of the wounded Shaarani, did not constitute an obstacle to his ambition, as he finds that science is important to man and illuminates his path and leads him to the right path, indicating that they are as wounded, just as they fought against the conspirators against Syria and the enemies of the homeland with weapons.

Six years after the wounded Ihab Al-Azmi lost his sight as a result of a terrorist bombing in the Khan Al-Sheih area, he did not lose his insight and continued his life's path with work and today with knowledge as a step from him as he mentioned to prove his presence in society and gain confidence that gives him an incentive to do something useful, develop his skills and contribute to building the future of the country.

The amputation of the left hand with bullets in the chest did not stop the determination of the wounded Hatem Munir al-Hussein, who said, “Just as I fought for Syria in the Qalamoun region and contributed with my comrades, the army’s heroes, to liberate it from terrorism years ago, I am fighting today for the flag that enhances our steadfastness.”

As for the wounded Khaled Al-Halawi (38 years), who was injured in Harasta in 2015 and the injury caused a burn to the spinal cord and a number of vertebrae fractures, he indicated that he left school 25 years ago and is now returning to it to make up for things he previously missed and to continue his educational attainment.

According to the director of the examination center, Ziad Shea, the appropriate atmosphere was provided for the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army to take the exam, explaining that building the nation is common to all its sons, as these students today are present in the field of knowledge as they were present years ago in the battlefield against terrorist organizations.
