At about 11 pm on Sunday (May 31), the police received a report from a staff member of a residential house at Nos. 56H to 63H Paifeng Road, Sheung Township, Lok Ma Chau, stating that a female hospital mate surnamed Li (45) was found on the terrace. She was hung up with a cloth strip, and the staff immediately removed her. Unfortunately, Li's wife was sent to the North District Hospital by an ambulance and was certified dead.
The police did not seize the suicide note, but it is believed that Mrs. Li was troubled by emotional illness. An autopsy will be conducted later to determine the cause of death.
