At about 1 am today (31st), a woman was reported to have been splashed with hot water in a hotel at 8 Cameron Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. She was unable to dodge and injured her hand. She then notified the hotel staff to call the police on her behalf. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

After investigation, the police arrested the boyfriend of the victim.

It is understood that the couple involved in the case are both 54 years old, the female victim's surname is Liang; her boyfriend's surname is Chen.

At the time of the incident, Chen Nan suspected that his girlfriend was late, and a scolding war broke out between the two sides. During the incident, Chen Nan was extremely angry and beat his girlfriend and poured hot water on her.

After the incident, Fu Liang suffered injuries to her chest and hands. Chen Nan was arrested for "assault causing actual bodily harm" and was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Yau Tsim Police District for follow-up.
