The Italian Ministry of Health recorded 44 deaths and 2,949 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated that the total number of injuries in the country reached 4 million and 216 thousand, while the total deaths reached 126,046.
Italy ranks eighth in the list of countries affected by the virus, after the United States, India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russia and Britain.
