Forty-seven pro-democracy activists were charged with conspiracy to subvert state power for organizing and participating in the "35+ primaries" last year. Among them, 11 were granted bail earlier, and 36 were still three months old.

The case will be heard in West Kowloon Court today (31st).

Although the hearing took place in the afternoon, dozens of uniformed police officers and police cars were on guard outside the court at 9 o'clock in the morning, setting up tents and pulling up orange belts on the spot.

More than 30 citizens were waiting in the court to observe, and some of them had arrived at the court early in the morning.

For this hearing, the main court has 47 relatives' seats and 6 reporters' seats, and two other courts and the extended area of ​​the court for live hearings.

At around 9 o'clock this morning, dozens of police officers were on guard outside the West Kowloon Court, with tents and orange belts set up.

Among the 47 defendants, only 11 have been released on bail, and 36 have been repaid for 3 months.
