The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 43,520 new infections and 874 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a daily statistic that the total number of coronavirus infections in Brazil has so far reached 16,515,120, and the total deaths have reached 461,931.
Brazil ranks third in the world in terms of infections and deaths in Corona after the United States and India, and in second place in terms of deaths after the United States.
In Mexico, the Ministry of Health recorded 52 deaths and 1,307 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 223,507 cases, while the total number of infections reached 24,12810 infections.
Mexico is the fifteenth country in the world in terms of the number of recorded infections with the Corona virus, but it ranks fourth in terms of the death toll from the virus.
