A large fire broke out this morning (Friday) in the forest near the settlement of Tzur Hadassah.

Many firefighters from the Beit Shemesh fire station, Jerusalem and other districts work there.

The extent of the fire is about fifty dunams and it is approaching the houses of the Karkom and Rechas neighborhoods.

As of this hour, there is no control over the fire.



Police and the Border Police are currently preparing to evacuate homes in Tzur Hadassah.

In addition, the locality committee informed its residents to vacate their homes immediately and arrive at the open and prepared local sports hall to receive the residents.
