Colombia registered this Thursday a record of cases and deaths from covid-19.
The Ministry of Health confirmed 28,624 new infections and 545 deaths associated with the disease.
Thus, the total number of cases is 3,488,046 and that of deaths, 90,353.
Those recovered amount to 3,242,060.
It is the third consecutive day that the South American country registers a record of infections.
For his part, the Minister of Health Fernando Ruiz announced this Thursday that a series of measures had been taken with a view to the economic reactivation scheduled as of June 8.
Among those that stand out: the elimination of Coronapp for domestic flights, repeal of the PCR test requirement for air entry into the country and the possibility of capacity in mass events.

However, he clarified that these measures do not imply that the epidemic is over.
"We are precisely in the hardest moment of the third peak and there is a high probability that we will have a fourth or fifth peak," he warned in a statement.
He added that to the extent that there is greater natural immunity and progress in vaccination, mortality will be reduced "significantly".
