The health department reports 17 new infections compared to June 2.

The locally calculated seven-day incidence is now 23.18 per 100,000 population.

The value for the Rki is 25.5.

The most recent death was a woman (77 years old, in a clinic).

Eight people are currently being treated for Covid 19 in the district clinic, three of whom are civil servants.

The total number of first vaccinations has risen to 85,771, which corresponds to a rate of 39.16 percent.

54 233 people were at the BRK vaccination center for the first time and 31 548 with general practitioners.

The number of second vaccinations is now 36,503, which corresponds to 16.66 percent.

29,751 of them were in the vaccination center, 6752 with general practitioners.

Compared to the previous day, 13 new infections became known, one of them in a children's home. The seven-day incidence is according to local calculations 25.90 per 100,000 inhabitants. The RKI gives the value as 26.0. There are currently 132 infected people in quarantine and 320 contact persons. In seven of the new cases there is a reasonable suspicion of the British variant. In three infected people suspected of the South African variant from May, this has now been confirmed by whole genome sequencing. Ten people are currently being treated for the virus in the district clinic, three of whom are ventilated. In the meantime, 85,283 people in the district have been vaccinated for the first time, 54,052 of them were in the BRK vaccination center and 31,231 with general practitioners. 38.93 percent.

The number of second vaccinations is 33 505. Of these, 27 334 were in the center and 6171 with general practitioners. The rate is 15.29 percent. In addition, the BRK has announced how it will continue with the vaccination after the lifting of the prioritization.

Update May 27, morning:

The seven-day incidence published by the Robert Koch Institute was 33.7 on May 23;

on May 24 at 32.4;

on May 25 at 30.6;

on May 26 at 20.1 and on May 27 at 23.3 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within the past seven days.

The district is thus on Thursday for the fifth day in a row below the incidence value of 35, as reported by the district office.

This will result in further easing of the contact restrictions from May 29th.

For the rest, the previous regulations remain.

Relaxation from Saturday

The common stay in public space, in privately used rooms and on privately used land with the members of your own household as well as the members of two other households is permitted as long as a total of ten people is not exceeded. As usual, children under 14 years of age belonging to these households as well as vaccinated and recovered persons are not taken into account for the total number. New rules from May 27th

There is no compulsory test for a visit to the outdoor restaurant.

There is no compulsory test in fitness studios and outdoor pools.
