Summary.

Lucie, a 32-year-old lawyer, stopped using contraception in 2016 to have a child.

A blood test reveals that her beta-hCG hormone levels, produced in early pregnancy, are very high.

Lucie believes she is a month pregnant but after several examinations, she is told that she has gynecological cancer.

Gynecologic cancer, also called molar pregnancy, is an abnormality that occurs around the time of fertilization.

In her uterus, it is not an embryo but a cancerous tumor that develops.

Despite an operation and several treatments, the tumor does not disappear.

To avoid heavy chemotherapy, the young woman chooses to start a clinical trial in Lyon.

She is cured but has psychological consequences that prevent her from projecting into a new pregnancy.

She manages to overcome her trauma and gives birth to Harry, in 2019.

For Code source, Lucie tells her story, at the microphone of Clawdia Prolongeau.
