Surrounded by post-Soviet industrial landscapes, this sleepy little town of the former GDR concentrates the evils traditionally associated with these German regions which, thirty years after reunification, have still not caught up with the West.
It is here that the far right intends to achieve its best scores in this regional test ballot scheduled for Sunday, the last before the legislative elections of September 26.
